About Tristan

Product leader.
Hands-on builder.

I’ve built and run teams of up to 50 people.

Tristan Huntington

As SVP of Product, I ran TextNow’s entire product division, including design and user research, and was responsible for hiring.

I also built Customer Care out of QA, established fulfillment and logistics from scratch, and ran DevOps and IT. That experience spans both product development and the operations needed to serve customers.

I played a key role in building TextNow into a carrier serving more than 10 million monthly active users across the U.S. and Canada, and scaling the business from $10M in revenue to more than $150M in annual revenue. Today I’m SVP, Innovation & Telecom Partnerships.

I have worked on individual contracts valued above $10M. Bringing the VoIP platform in-house improved voice-platform costs by more than 30%. That experience spans commercial decisions and platform economics.

I led the product and commercial work to bring our voice service in-house. I built executive relationships with multiple U.S. carriers and led work on network migrations, SIM replacements, and device sourcing. Those programs taught me to make product decisions with the contracts, technical dependencies, and customer transition in view.

More recently, I have defined multi-year product direction, focused our Labs portfolio, and served as executive sponsor and product lead for Yello!, a phone service for kids. I independently built its first working AI-assisted prototype before the team delivered the production beta.

I like having something working on screen. I use AI-assisted development to test product ideas, and I build business briefings and automations for my own leadership work. It lets me explore a question directly before asking a team to invest in it.
